 Dr. Ladd founded Ladd Dental Group in Kokomo, Indiana back in 1979. Since Ladd Dental Group's inception, they have grown to over six general dentistry locations, two orthodontic practices, an oral surgery center, and provide comprehensive dental care to all of their patients. Dr. Ladd was born at St. Joe Hospital and raised in Miami County, IN. John enjoys reading, fishing, & going to the gym. He is married to his wife Tisa who is also a dentist. Together they have four children, two sons, and two daughters. What Dr. John loves most about dentistry is visiting with the patients and seeing a beautiful end result. He believes that everyone is unique and deserves the best care he can provide.  Dr. Bryan Schmidt joined our Ladd Dental Group family back in 2019, and he has been such a wonderful addition to our Wabash team. Dr. Schmidt graduated from Southwood Jr/Sr High School and was raised in right here in Wabash! Dr. Schmidt attended undergrad at Purdue University where he graduated with a General Health Science Degree. From there, Dr. Schmidt went on to IUPUI to receive his Masters in Biology and later to Indiana University's School of Dentistry were he received his DDS diploma! Dr. Schmidt recently graduated and is excited to start his career back where it all began. He is thrilled to be able to serve the community in which he grew up, and is looking forward to the opportunity of treating you and your family!

 Dr. Patricia Flores is a Huntington, Indiana native and has recently joined Ladd Dental Group team in Peru and Wabash. After graduating from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she went on to receive a technical certificate in Dental Assisting. Soon after, Patricia returned to school to become a hygienist and subsequently a dentist. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family listening to live music, reading, and gardening. She is excited to return to the area as a practicing dentist. 

Sami is our outstanding dental hygienist in Wabash. Sami was born and raised in Nappanee Indiana, and we are so grateful that she joined our Wabash dental family! Sami graduated from Ivy Tech South Bend's hygiene school, and she picked the perfect trade for her given skill set! Brooke is one of exceptional and experienced dental assistants in Wabash, and has been part of our LADD family for over three years! Brooke grew up in Wabash County and still lives in the community today. She graduated in 2008 from Northfield JR/SR High School, and then went on to graduate from IPFW in 2011 with a General Studies Degree, as well as  a Certificate for  Expanded Function Dental Assisting.  Her favorite thing about dentistry is bonding with her patients, and being able to educate them on their dental care. "I am a small town girl who really enjoys helping my community I grew up in."

  Lauren Rich is a dedicated and compassionate dental hygienist with a passion for promoting oral health and helping her patients achieve bright, healthy smiles. Graduating from Indiana University Fort Wayne, she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene and embarked on a rewarding career in the field of dentistry.

Throughout her educational journey, Lauren demonstrated a keen interest in dental science and patient care. She excelled in her coursework, mastering essential dental hygiene techniques and learning about the latest advancements in the field. Her time at Indiana University Fort Wayne provided her with a solid foundation in oral anatomy, periodontology, radiography, and dental materials.

Outside of her professional life, Lauren is an avid advocate for community dental health initiatives. She volunteers her time and expertise at local dental outreach events, providing oral health screenings and educational sessions to underserved communities. Her dedication to giving back and making a positive impact on others' lives sets her apart as a compassionate healthcare professional.
